The Contract beds comply with BS7177 sources 5 or 7 (medium or high hazard). Medium hazard complies with the rquirements for Nursing Homes, Hotels, Hostels, Halls of Residence, Holiday Camp Chalets, Boarding Schools etc. High Hazard is generally only required by off-shore installations, certain old peoples Homes, certain high risk Hostels and Hospital wards. All the bases are Platform Top with or without storage and the mattress contains 13 gauge Bonnell open coil springs with specially treated insulator pads topped with layers of cotton fillings treated for Crib 5 or 7.
