The company strives to resource its raw material purchases from well-managed redwood forests in Scandinavia. The quality of the raw material purchases are critical, both to the production process as well as to the quality of the final product. Only the best choice of cuts will be acceptable. The less knots in the timber, the better the quality. The faster the pine tree grows, the less knots it produces. So the location of the forest in Scandinavia is therefore paramount.
